Sure he didn't win it. Sure he missed that putt on 12 and blew his momentum, but this is the best I've seen Tiger hit the ball since he won the US Open at Torrey Pines.
Sean Foley must be doing something right with him because his driver worked well this entire week. His 3-wood on par-5s at Augusta was vintage Tiger.
On the other hand, the collapse of Rory McIlroy who shot 80 on the last round clearly demonstrates that this game at the professional level, and especially at the Masters, is all about mental strength on day 4.
As soon as Tiger gains confidence in his new swing, his mental is going to be right there. His putting looked well this week, maybe some tweaking here and there. All and all I can't wait to see the rest of the season, especially the US Open, the British Open and the PGA championship.
